Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting has criticized Indian fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj for their approach during the recent Test match against England. Ponting highlighted that both bowlers struggled to maintain consistent line and length, which allowed English batsmen to settle quickly and dominate key sessions.

He also mentioned that while Bumrah is a world-class bowler, India failed to build pressure as a unit. “They need to learn how to bowl in partnerships,” Ponting said, adding that bowling in Test cricket is not just about pace but also strategy and patience.
