âś… JPSC Forest Range Officer Admit Card Released

The Jharkhand Public Service Commission has issued admit cards for the 170 Forest Range Officer (FRO) prelim exam scheduled on June 29, 2025. Eligible candidates should download their hall tickets via the official JPSC site by June 19–20 and follow the exam guidelines closely.

🔎 Ongoing Candidate Protests Over Delayed JPSC Results

Hundreds of candidates have launched protests—including hunger strikes—outside the JPSC office in Ranchi demanding the immediate release of results for the 11th and 13th JPSC Civil Services (Mains). These results have been pending for almost a year despite being reportedly ready. Protesters also seek clarity on delayed recruitments for civil judges, assistant professors, and homeopathic doctors. JSSA leaders vow to continue their protest until action is taken.

Despite a new JPSC Chairman being appointed two months ago and assurances of results following his return from travel, the delay persists. Chief Minister Hemant Soren emphasized that JPSC is autonomous and thus immune to government intervention.

⚖️ Jharkhand High Court Orders Compensation in Recruitment Case

A civil court in Ranchi has directed JPSC to compensate ₹1 lakh to petitioner Manoj Kumar Kachhap, whose candidature for an assistant professor post was abruptly cancelled during the interview stage due to a missing fee payment—despite no prior notice. The Jharkhand HC upheld its previous order and dismissed JPSC’s appeal.

🎯 What This Means for Aspirants

  • Exam transparency crisis: Delays and missing scorecards are eroding trust in JPSC processes, with protests gaining ground across the state.

  • Legal accountability: Court rulings signal pressure on JPSC to enforce fair procedures and uphold petitioner rights.

  • Recruitment stagnation: Widespread dissatisfaction exists due to long-pending exam cycles and lack of follow-through on results.
