Bollywood is in mourning after the tragic death of actress-model Shefali Jariwala (aged 42) from cardiac arrest on June 27, 2025, at her Andheri residence. Rushed unconscious to Bellevue Multispecialty Hospital, she was declared dead on arrival.
Her final rites were performed on June 28 at Mumbai’s Oshiwara Crematorium, with a heartbreaking scene as her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, wept while carrying her bier and kissing her forehead one last time. Close family members, including her father, and friends like Arti Singh, Mahira Sharma, Sunidhi Chauhan, Rashami Desai, and Hindustani Bhau (Vikas Fhatak) were in attendance, visibly shattered by the loss. The Mumbai Police have already conducted a post‑mortem at Cooper Hospital, with news of preliminary autopsy findings still pending.
